The 26th Annual Winter Festival of Lights
November 8, 2008 to January 5, 2009
The Winter Festival of Lights is Canada's foremost illumination festival held at one of the world’s most famous addresses - Niagara Falls, Canada! This winter festival has become a family tradition for over 1 million local residents and visitors from around the world.
Features of this festival include over 125 animated lighting displays and 3 million sparkling tree and ground lights which can be seen within the Niagara Parks Winter Wonderland, including the world-famous Enchantment of Disney® displays and the world's largest illuminated Canadian-American Flag.
Admission is free to view the illuminations but donations are gratefully accepted to enhance the lights and displays for future years.

The Winter Festival of Lights features spectacular fireworks displays over the mighty Falls. Be sure to also enjoy the Illumination of the Falls, beginning every evening at dusk as the Falls light up in the colours of the rainbow. Come out to enjoy this annual family tradition!

New Years Eve Niagara Falls, Canada: December 31
Celebrate Canada’s Largest FREE New Year’s Eve Extravaganza! Niagara Parks along with the Niagara Falls New Year's Eve event partners will once again host the free New Year's concert in Queen Victoria Park. The party begins at 8 p.m. with live entertainment for the whole family.
New Year’s Eve in Niagara Falls features a licensed area serving cold and specialty hot beverages and a variety of food concessions. This free concert draws approximately 30,000 people each year, with two spectacular fireworks displays at 9:00 p.m. and Midnight. Live television coverage will run from 11:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on CH and CanWest Global affiliate stations. Visit this site often to find out the exciting details as they are announced.
