Butterfly ConservatoryThis magical attraction features over 2,000 colourful tropical butterflies floating freely among lush, exotic blossoms and greenery. Paths wind through the rainforest setting, past a pond and waterfall and the Emergence window, where butterflies leave their pupae and prepare to take their first flight!

January 1 to March 7:  5 p.m.
March 8 to 16:   6 p.m. 
March 17 to May 16:  Monday to Friday 5 p.m., Weekends and holidays 6 p.m. 
May 17 to June 20:  Monday to Friday 6 p.m, Weekends and holidays 8 p.m.
June 21 August 17:  9 p.m.  
August 18 to August 31:  8:30 p.m.
September 1 to October 12:  6 p.m.  
October 13 to December 31: 5 p.m. 
Closed December 25

Please note that longer waiting periods may occur during the summer months.

Location: 2405 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.  The Butterfly Conservatory is located 10 minutes north of Niagara Falls on the grounds of the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens & School of Horticulture.

2008 Majestic Monarchs Event, September 6 - 14, 2008
To celebrate the majestic migration of Monarchs in late summer, the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory will feature a special exhibit that will visually explore the life cycle and provide many interesting facts about the majestic Monarch Butterfly. Visitors will be able to purchase their own Monarch Butterfly as part of a tag and release program. For more information, click here.
